Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop appropriate interventions for students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement strategies that support student learning and wellbeing
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, fostering emotional and social development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding mental health and educational concerns
