POSITION: Territory Sales Trainee STATUS: Exempt, Salary
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales DATE: March 2025
DIRECT REPORTS: None LOCATION: Maine, will need to travel
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enters quotes and orders and presents to appropriate Sales Representative or dealer for review and approval.

Communicates with dealers when Order Confirmations have missing or incorrect information.

Trains dealers on the Dealer Log-in Program and use of other sales related materials provided by company.

Ensure a continuing flow of information to the customer on all aspects of their account, including availability, order delivery and invoicing.

Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with existing orders.

Confirms order and delivery date of custom orders with Purchasing within two (2) business days.

Pitches existing and potential customers to buy and use the company’s products.

Calls prospective and current dealers on a daily basis to generate sales to meet sales budgets.

Plans an effective sales targeting approach to assigned territory and adjusts content of sales presentations according to market trends.

Plans and organizes daily work schedule to service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts.

Submits activity and results reports to sales manager daily, weekly and annually with analysis and other reports upon request.

Ability to travel to meet with dealers or attend trade shows when required.

Work with Sales Manager daily to implement new and on-going sales promotions and programs
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED, College degree preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record Required
