Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a healthcare team in Hoquiam, WA, seeking an experienced Ultrasound General technologist with skills in diagnostic imaging, including vascular studies. This 13-week travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to work in both hospital and imaging center settings, providing comprehensive ultrasound services.
Location:
Hoquiam, WA, is situated near the beautiful Pacific coastline with easy access to outdoor activities, cultural events, and a friendly community atmosphere. The area boasts proximity to beaches, parks, and local dining, making it an excellent location for both work and leisure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including general imaging and specialized vascular studies such as upper and lower extremity DVT and carotid ultrasounds
- Provide accurate and timely patient assessments and imaging interpretations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in rotating on-call duties
- Work varying day shifts (Sunday through Saturday) with 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Valid ARDMS certification including Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Proficiency in vascular ultrasound imaging and diagnostic techniques
- Ability to handle rotating on-call demands
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Schedule:
- Dayshift (10-hour shifts)
- Rotating call, varying days Sunday to Saturday
- Holidays off unless on call and called in
