As a Senior A&P Mechanic, you'll be a crucial part of our client's team working on general aviation aircraft. Your role involves leading maintenance, repairs, and inspections and guiding junior mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks such as annual and return-to-service inspections on various aircraft models.
- Utilize calibrated tools for accurate measurements and adjustments.
- Mentor and train junior mechanics on maintenance techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments for efficient maintenance coordination.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and timely.
- Travel for field maintenance operations as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Textron, Cirrus, Piper, and similar aircraft models.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel for field maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Inspection Authorization (IA) and Pilot's License.
- Experience with general aviation aircraft.
- Familiarity with Textron, Cirrus, and similar models.
