Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Physical Therapist is needed to support early childhood education for the 2025-2026 school year in the Saint Charles, MO area, serving students in Bridgeton, Berkeley, Ferguson, Jennings, and nearby communities. This full-time contract position requires 36 hours per week (7 hours per day) and will begin ASAP through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing individualized therapy goals based on student needs
- Participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Providing direct Physical Therapy services to students
- Evaluating student progress and reporting quarterly on goal attainment
- Creating and maintaining an effective therapy schedule
- Consulting with staff as needed to support student success
Caseload size will range from 30 to 60 students weekly, depending on individual student abilities and required therapy time.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate credentials for school settings
- Experience providing Physical Therapy services to children, preferably in early childhood education
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements
