As a Licensed Massage Therapist at our wellness center, you will provide specialized massage therapy services focusing on a single massage type, working independently while collaborating as part of a dedicated team. You will engage directly with clients to assess their needs and deliver high-quality therapeutic treatments in a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, reporting directly to the spa manager as an independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and conditions prior to therapy
- Perform focused massage therapy treatments
- Maintain exceptional customer service throughout client interactions
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in massage therapy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state massage therapist license
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Swedish and deep tissue massage
- Strong client communication skills
- Knowledge of human anatomy
- Effective time management
- Physical stamina to perform treatments
- Customer service orientation
- Professionalism in all client and team interactions
