Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to drawings and work instructions
- Read and interpret mechanical and assembly prints
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, saws, lathes, and mills
- Perform drilling, tapping, and general mechanical assembly
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical, pneumatic, and sensor-related issues
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Assist with occasional field or customer support as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
- Hands-on experience with tools and shop equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pneumatic systems and schematics
- Sensor troubleshooting experience
- Welding or machining experience
- Experience working in an industrial or automotive manufacturing environment
