Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to drawings and work instructions
  • Read and interpret mechanical and assembly prints
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, saws, lathes, and mills
  • Perform drilling, tapping, and general mechanical assembly
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, pneumatic, and sensor-related issues
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
  • Assist with occasional field or customer support as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Hands-on experience with tools and shop equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pneumatic systems and schematics
  • Sensor troubleshooting experience
  • Welding or machining experience
  • Experience working in an industrial or automotive manufacturing environment
