Job DescriptionAccounts Receivable Analyst
Contract-to-Hire | 1st Shift | $25-$28 per hour
Our client in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst with strong experience in high-volume retail deductions, cash posting, and managing customer portals. This is a 1st-shift, hybrid, contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $25-$28 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Process and research high volumes of retail deductions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform daily cash application including posting payments, applying remittances, and reconciling variances.
- Work extensively within customer portals to review, retrieve, and manage deduction data.
- Investigate invalid or unsupported deductions and collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, accounting) to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain AR aging reports and track outstanding deductions and past-due balances.
- Assist with month-end close tasks and AR reporting.
- Provide excellent communication and follow-up with customers to ensure timely payment resolution.
Requirements
- 2+ years of AR experience, preferably with retail or national account customers.
- Proven experience with retail deduction processing in high-volume environments.
- Knowledge of cash posting and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to work within various customer portals (retailers, EDI portals, vendor systems).
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/JDE a plus).
- Excellent communication, analytical ability, and organization skills.
- Ability to work 1st shift in a hybrid environment (Cincinnati-based).
