Sterling Engineering is seeking a Service Technician to support continued expansion and a great client of ours in Cleveland, OH. This role is responsible for servicing and supporting air compressors and related compressed air systems while delivering high-quality customer service. The Service Technician works directly with customers to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform maintenance, and provide effective technical solutions in the field.
Job Duties:
- Provide on-site technical support and repair of customer equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on air compressors and related products
- Inspect and service air compressors, dryers, and compressed air accessories
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system failures
- Explain system capabilities, operations, features, and benefits to customers
- Recommend corrective actions to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Complete all required paperwork, including work orders, service orders, and customer documentation
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company policies
- Work safely to prevent injuries, property damage, and maintain clean job sites
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and stooping
