What You’ll Do
As a CNC Machine Operator (Lathe/Mill), you’ll play a critical role in producing components that protect lives:

Operate & Maintain CNC Machines

Report to your supervisor at the start of each shift for assignments.

Run CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet specifications and quality standards.

Load and unload parts and bar feeders safely and efficiently.
-
Operate general machine shop equipment safely and correctly.

Ensure Product Quality
-
Read, interpret, and apply blueprints to determine tool selection and cutting processes.

Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.

Handle part inspections, gauging, and quality control accurately.

Collaborate & Communicate
-
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.

Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, valuing diversity and inclusion.

Proactively suggest improvements to processes, products, and practices.

Maintain a Safe & Organized Work Environment

Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

Keep your work area clean, orderly, and compliant with standards.

What You Bring

Working knowledge of CNC operations and control functions.
-
Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
-
Strong understanding and practical application of OSHA and company safety procedures.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, measurements, and instruments.

Solid math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.

Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure, working independently or in a team.

Clear communication skills—oral and written—with sensitivity to professional ethics and diversity.

Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including weekends, when required.
