PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the HVAC industry to hire a Customer Support Engineer who will play a critical role in delivering and supporting cutting-edge Energy Management Solutions. Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday - Hybrid

Payrate: 22.50

Make an Impact

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will execute, support, and lead the delivery of energy management solutions to a diverse customer base. Your work ensures operational excellence, optimal energy performance, and superior customer experiences, directly contributing to the success of both clients and the company.


What You Will Do

  • Provide exceptional support through calls, emails, tickets, and special projects

  • Execute and lead delivery of energy management solutions under the guidance of the BAS Specialist Supervisor

  • Review and interpret technical documents such as wiring diagrams and as-builts

  • Analyze energy data and systems to identify opportunities for optimization

  • Coordinate with field operations teams and support multiple customers following customized procedures

  • Resolve issues by clarifying problems, exploring solutions, and escalating when necessary

  • Maintain professional, positive communication and handle customer stress or conflicts effectively

  • Complete all required documentation, work orders, and updates on time

  • Display flexibility in shifts and multitask efficiently across multiple projects

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus specialized courses/short-term training (1 year or less) with minimum 2 years of experience, or

  • Associate Degree, Technical/Business School Certificate/Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post-secondary training (2 years) with minimum 1 year of experience

  • Technical support, customer support, or related experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and email systems

  • Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and manage multiple priorities

  • Dedication to delivering innovative building automation solutions and outstanding customer service


Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC, electrician, or building controls experience, including service coordination, technician, or dispatcher roles

  • Experience with building automation systems and third-party integrations (BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus)

  • Understanding of IP networking and computer fundamentals

  • Ability to provide guidance to team members and contribute to process improvements

Pay Details: 22.50 per hour
