Job DescriptionJoin our team as a CNC Machine Operator and apply your skills to producing high-precision components. Your primary responsibility will be operating our CNC water jet machine, with an additional opportunity to work with advanced industrial 3D printing equipment (if applicable). What You’ll Do:
- Read & interpret engineering drawings and convert them into water jet cutting files.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring and inspection tools to ensure specification compliance.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on water jet machines and related equipment.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and booms.
- Recognize and work with various materials, sizes, and thicknesses.
- Support other fabrication team members when necessary.
- Operate 3D printing machines (potential opportunity if applicable).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years of CNC machinery operation experience (CNC cutting machinery experience preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with FLOW, AutoCAD, Nesting, or similar software.
- Strong organizational skills for planning work and maintaining digital files.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to assist in other departments when needed.
- Fabrication and assembly experience/skills are a plus.
