Our client is a rapidly growing B2B software company operating in the multifamily property management sector. They provide a modern technology platform that helps apartment communities solve real operational problems while unlocking new, recurring revenue. The company is well beyond the “idea stage,” with a proven product, a growing national customer base, and significant greenfield opportunity ahead.


THE JOB


This is a Denver-based Sales Manager role for a true player-coach. The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of inside and outside sales representatives while helping the company continue to refine and scale its sales motion. The environment is not rigid or overly scripted—this leader will step into a business that is still evolving its sales approach. The right person will thrive by coaching through complexity, listening closely to calls, improving messaging, and helping reps navigate a long, relationship-driven sales cycle.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching sales reps through live deals and recorded call reviews
  • Developing and refining pitch decks, talk tracks, and objection handling
  • Helping identify where deals stall and how to move them forward
  • Partnering with leadership and marketing to improve sales effectiveness
  • Leading with empathy during high-pressure situations while maintaining accountability
  • Spending time in the field (approximately 25%) supporting key opportunities and ride-alongs
  • Helping stabilize performance during ramp periods and building long-term consistency across the team


THE QUALIFICATIONS


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience leading and coaching an inside sales team (this is essential)
  • Has operated in a long sales cycle B2B environment
  • Is comfortable reviewing calls, coaching in the moment, and getting into the details
  • Can lead tenured reps and newer reps with equal effectiveness
  • Thrives in a growing company where processes are still being built and refined
  • Balances empathy with directness and accountability
  • Is energized by building something—not inheriting a perfectly polished system


Preferred (but not required):

  • SaaS or software sales leadership experience
  • Experience selling into multifamily, real estate, or property-related industries
  • Background in scaling or rebuilding sales teams
