Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab – Travel Position
Location: Billings, MT
Job Type: Travel Contract

Pay: $2,025/week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Billings, MT on a 13-week travel assignment. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them restore independence and improve quality of life in a structured rehab setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and experienced in inpatient rehab care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to inpatient rehabilitation goals.
- Provide interventions such as ADL retraining, mobility programs, and adaptive equipment training.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safe practices, and progress expectations.
- Document therapy sessions, care plans, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Support recovery, independence, and overall wellness through evidence-based OT practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid OT license in Montana (or compact eligibility).
- Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience; inpatient rehab experience preferred.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills.
- Compassionate and adaptable approach with experience treating diverse patient populations.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
