New York Life Insurance Company is currently hiring managers for its Fast Track Partner Program, a training program in which participants start as financial professionals who gain first-hand experience in the field. Compensation:
$65,000+ at plan commission + allowances
Responsibilities:
- Determine financial solutions for clients within a breadth of relevant products and services such as life insurance, fixed and variable annuities, mutual funds, and more
- Recruit and develop your own team of financial professionals as an Associate Partner
- Gain hands-on experience as a financial professional helping clients develop a long-term strategy to achieve their financial goals
- Transition into management as an Associate Partner once you have achieved the program requirements
- Join our intensive, six-month Associate Partner Training Program to further your business acumen and expertise while working toward a management position
- Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders
- Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients
- Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assessing their priorities and finances, and determining suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs
- Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
- Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Cultural markets knowledge preferred but not required
- Must have financial services industry and/or insurance industry experience
- Experience working in sales is required
- Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and seeking a rewarding and challenging career
- Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or another language is a plus
- Sales experience preferred with a strong desire to succeed
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to help families and businesses to “Be Good at Life.”
