zTrip, North America’s largest taxi network with over 6,000 vehicles in 38 cities, is hiring a Transportation Dispatcher in Dallas! We’re looking for dependable, detail‑oriented professionals to coordinate daily transportation activity, support drivers, and ensure every trip runs smoothly.
Shift:
Tuesday - Friday 12PM-8PM
Saturday - 12PM-12AM
Responsibilities of a Transportation Dispatcher:
- Assign and schedule trips based on driver availability and customer needs
- Monitor real‑time fleet activity to maintain on‑time performance
- Communicate route details, updates, and schedule changes clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of routes, vehicle assignments, and trip coordination
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to improve efficiency
- Handle unexpected challenges with calm, solution‑focused professionalism
Requirements of a Transportation Dispatcher:
- Experience in dispatching, logistics, scheduling, or transportation operations (preferred)
- Strong multitasking, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment
- Familiarity with dispatch systems, GPS tracking, or routing software (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license required
