About the Role:
The Assistant Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success and operational excellence of the branch within the wholesale trade sector. This position is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in managing daily branch activities, ensuring superior customer service, and achieving sales and financial goals. The Assistant Branch Manager fosters a strong sales culture by motivating and coaching staff to meet and exceed branch sales targets. Ultimately, this position ensures that the branch operates smoothly while contributing to EWS's growth and profitability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record in branch sales and managing EWS operations.
- Strong knowledge of EWS products in the electrical industry and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the wholesale trade industry or a similar electrical services environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and sustaining a high-performance sales culture.
- Familiarity with EWS software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations to ensure compliance with EWS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive branch sales initiatives by promoting a customer base to the public.
- Coach and develop branch staff to cultivate a strong sales culture and enhance customer service standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline EWS operations and improve overall branch efficiency.
Skills:
The required skills, such as branch sales, counter sales, and customer relations, are essential to driving revenue growth and meeting daily branch targets. EWS operations expertise ensures that the branch functions efficiently and complies with all regulatory standards, minimizing risk. Knowledge of electrical products and EWS culture allows the Assistant Branch Manager to tailor customer needs effectively. Additionally, fostering a sales culture requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and create an environment focused on customer satisfaction and business growth. Be aware of the National Electric Code (NEC), yet rely on qualified electricians for representations of the NEC to help with your sales.
