Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching License required
  • Experience supporting middle school-aged students, preferably in SLD (Specific Learning Disability) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classrooms
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs), accommodations, and modifications
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction for 7th and 8th grade students with special needs (SLD and ASD)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Collect data, maintain appropriate records, and track student progress meticulously
  • Build rapport with students to encourage growth, self-advocacy, and engagement in classroom activities

This position is full-time (approximately 35 hours per week) during the academic year, beginning September 1, 2026, and ending June 2, 2027. Interviewing will be conducted via Zoom, offering you flexibility in the process.
