Department: Human Resources
FLSA Status: Exempt
Locations: Kuakini Admin (Kona) or Hilo Admin
Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

In this role, you’ll partner with employees and leadership across the organization to support a wide range of HR functions—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a trusted resource and primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries
  • Lead onboarding and new hire orientation experiences
  • Support recruiting efforts, including candidate screening and interviewing
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation programs, and HR initiatives
  • Maintain HR systems, employee records, and support payroll processes
  • Assist with audits, credentialing, and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to employee engagement and a positive workplace culture

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED plus 5 years of healthcare administrative experience (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR)
  • Knowledge of human resources policies and employment regulations

Compensation

$53,550 – $72,450 annually, based on experience and skillset
