Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly motivated Provider Relations Specialist in the Houston area who will be responsible for field and office activities in providing education and supporting the IPA’s providers network. The Provider Relations Specialist will be working with contracted providers on managed care operations and to comply with IPA and Health Plan standards.

What You'll Do
- Develop trusted relationships and maintain open lines of communication with providers through in-person visits, emails, phone
- Conduct provider onboarding, orientation, and ongoing educational training throughout the year to ensure providers remain compliant.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure provider inquiries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Create detailed reporting of provider visits, inquiries, trainings, and growth opportunities
- Problem-solve and identify ways to address provider issues timely and effectively
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments
- Must be able to travel frequently to the assigned service areas
- Other duties assigned by department leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
- 2-3 years experience in provider network scope of services
- Strong understanding of Managed Care Operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position is a field representative position and requires traveling depending on assignments. or projects. This could be 3-4 times per week, and also requires monthly visits to provider offices.
- You will also need to come into office once a week.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $75,000 - $82,000 annually and represents our national target range for this role.
