Key Responsibilities and Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Manager to oversee all aspects of company vehicle management and maintenance. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for scheduling, inspecting, and maintaining company vehicles, including performing basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire replacements, and minor power train part replacements. This role will serve as the main point of contact for contract and service departments, ensuring timely vehicle availability and e!icient management of fleet resources.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and coordinate fleet usage for projects and service jobs.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire replacements, and minor power train part replacements.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and ensure documentation of maintenance and repairs.
• Manage vehicle assignments and track usage across departments.
• Maintain records of fleet maintenance, repairs, and compliance with company policies.
• Act as the main point of contact for contract and service departments regarding vehicle availability and fleet needs.
• Monitor fleet inventory and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and operational readiness.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies for vehicle usage and maintenance.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, or a related field.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs, including oil changes, brake and tire replacements, and minor power train part replacements.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with fleet management systems and Microsoft O!ice Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work ejectively under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license required.
