Advisory Customer Success Manager - Technical Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 80% telecommuting permitted): Engage with clients to maximize the value of their current internal mainframe products, while driving the adoption of next-generation technologies from companies' z transaction processing software portfolio. Collaborate directly with end clients to accelerate the deployment of strategic mainframe offerings within their production environment. Partner with internal account teams to ensure active involvement from key client sponsors and champions, validating the achievement of key performance metrics post-implementation. Work on strategic mainframe offerings and influence stakeholders across multiple departments and functions, driving impactful decisions. Lead and execute comprehensive mainframe deployments, including architecture design, installation, adoption, and usage across multiple internal z products. Contribute technical assets, best practices, and architectural frameworks that can be reused and repurposed across multiple client engagements. Expand client use of internal mainframe technology by identifying adjacent offerings, and leveraging insights into the client's business, industry, market, and technology landscape. Oversee the introduction of new capabilities to clients, ensuring successful installation, provisioning and testing for maximum impact. Utilize z/OS, Customer Information Control System (CICS), Information Management System Database (IMS DB), Information Management System Data Communication (IMS DC), Db2, Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL), Job Control Language (JCL), Easytrieve. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as a Technical Specialist or related. Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing z/OS, Customer Information Control System (CICS), Information Management System Database (IMS DB), Information Management System Data Communication (IMS DC), Db2, Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL), Job Control Language (JCL), Easytrieve. $150550 to $200550 per year.
