POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a creative, innovative planner who understands the unique needs of young people? Do you have a passion for engaging hard-to-reach youth and creating opportunities for them to thrive? If so, we invite you to apply for the Youth & Community Engagement Manager role at Found Village! In this role, you would lead the curation and execution of youth group events and engagement as well as community engagement events. Youll have the opportunity to create experiences that connect the community to the young people we serve and even organize special events with donors to help sustain and grow our work. This is your chance to design dynamic programs, build meaningful relationships, and help make lasting change for both youth and our broader community. Our ideal candidate will have skills in project and program management and have a background in youth event coordination.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan and coordinate youth enrichment activities and events, ensuring consistency and engagement across programs.
  • Cultivate new and existing relationships with community partners to enhance program offerings.
  • Create spaces where team members and volunteers are activated to engage with our young people, to truly create a village around them.
  • Collaborate with the coaching team and stakeholders to assess impact, improve programs, and grow overall participation.
  • Plan and execute donor engagement events.
  • Analyze data to recommend program improvements.
  • Involve youth in the development of programs, ensuring their voices are heard, while learning and growing with a passionate team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have passion for your community, are mission-driven, and thrive bringing order to chaos!
  • You are imaginative enjoy planning and coordinating parties and events that keep youth and team engaged.
  • Youre organized and detail-oriented, but also fun and creative!
  • You have exceptional relationship management & communication skills, partnering with many different stakeholders in the youth care program to achieve results.
  • You dont take yourself too seriously and lead with humility.
  • Youre highly skilled at wearing multiple hats, diving in where needed, and being strategic in ensuring big picture goals are met.
  • Youve been told you have grace under pressure, are perseverant, and always respectful and sensitive to people different from you.
  • You excel at the follow up, making sure all moving pieces are executed, people are where theyre supposed to be, and events are creating a safe and fun environment for our youth and staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 - 5 Years Experience planning and executing events
  • Minimum 3 Years Partner Relationship Management
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
