- Starting Pay: $36/hour
- Contract Type: School-year contract with renewal opportunities
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support student success
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Active Nebraska Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for supporting students with special needs
