Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver specialized nursing care across various critical and acute care units including ICU, Step Down Unit, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, and ER. This role demands coordination and planning of patient care while ensuring compliance with each unit's nursing competencies. It also involves supervising and delegating to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Step Down Unit nursing essential
- Competency in ICU, Med Surg, PACU, Day Stay, and Emergency Room nursing care
- Ability to supervise and delegate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with nursing standards and regulatory requirements in acute care settings
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient care plans tailored to unit-specific needs
- Coordinate care delivery across multiple units, maintaining high standards of nursing practice
- Supervise ancillary staff and delegate tasks appropriately ensuring compliance with professional scope
