Role Overview
As a Mortgage Recruiting Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing mortgage professionals with our bank, credit union, and mortgage clients. This is a phone-heavy, outreach-driven role ideal for a high-energy professional who thrives on making connections and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities

Client & Candidate Engagement

Proactively reach out to candidates via phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify and attract qualified talent in the mortgage sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Guide candidates through the hiring process from interview prep to offer negotiation.

Search Management

Manage multiple mortgage searches simultaneously, striking a balance between urgency and quality.

Customize outreach strategies based on client needs and regional hiring trends.

Administrative & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Regularly update clients on search progress and market conditions.

Outreach Expectations

Make a high volume of daily outreach calls to both passive and active candidates.

Follow up consistently with warm leads, referrals, and networking connections.

Utilize creative methods (beyond job boards) to locate mortgage professionals.
What You Bring

Prior recruiting or sales experience, ideally in banking, mortgage, or financial services.

Comfort with cold calling and developing new relationships from scratch.

High level of professionalism and discretion, especially with confidential candidate information.
