A Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year, serving a middle school caseload. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic and social growth of students with special needs by providing tailored instruction and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address the unique needs of each student.
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring to track and report student development toward IEP goals.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to acmodate diverse learning styles and abilities within a middle school environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with special education regulations and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with middle school students in a special education setting.
- Proficiency in developing and managing IEPs.
- Strong organizational and munication skills.
- Ability to effectively monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
