Air Import Supervisor – JFK Airport Area

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily air import operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Lead and support a team of 2–10 import staff, providing coaching, development, and performance oversight
- Implement departmental policies, SOPs, and process improvements to drive efficiency
- Prepare quotations, review documentation, and maintain clear communication with customers and vendors
- Ensure smooth customs clearance, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–5 years of import operations experience (air import strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of freight documentation, Incoterms, and shipment flow
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with limited standardization and navigate real-time challenges
