Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS (OB) certification for a 13-week acute care assignment covering multiple imaging centers.
Details
- Acute care hospital ultrasound department with 3 scanning rooms
- Coverage required across Weston, Wausau, and Merrill locations
- General ultrasound exams and breast imaging performed; vascular experience is a plus
- Experience with 2nd and 3rd trimester OB scans is required
- Charting in Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic); Sectra PACS
- GE equipment at Weston, Philips at Wausau/Merrill
- 8-hour day shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
- Weeknight and weekend on-call rotation required
- Holiday on-call rotation required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience
- ARDMS with OB certification required; RVT preferred
- Active BLS (AHA) required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with 2nd and 3rd trimester scans required
- Acute care setting experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference within the last 3 years of relevant experience
Additional Information
- Orientation takes place at the Weston location
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
- Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
- Clean and professional scrubs of any color are required; scrubs are not provided
- In-house radiologist support available
