Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential early intervention services within preschool settings. This contract position offers the chance to work itinerantly across Carbon and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania, supporting children’s developmental communication needs from early childhood through school age.

Location: Positions are based in the greater area of Carbon County or Lehigh County, PA, with the main office located in Schnecksville. Note that services will be delivered in various community and school-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged children in early intervention.
  • Provide flexibility to adjust caseload and services to include school-age children (PreK-12) during the school year.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with Pennsylvania state regulations for early intervention programs.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Pennsylvania educator certification (Instructional I or II).
  • Experience working with preschool early intervention populations, with adaptability to serve school-aged children.
  • Ability to provide in-person therapy services across multiple locations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule: This role requires a 35-hour workweek with assignments beginning ASAP and tentatively continuing through the 2026-27 school year. The early intervention program operates on a year-round calendar.

This position provides a rewarding environment to make a meaningful impact on children’s communication development in diverse educational settings. Candidates who meet the qualifications and are ready to contribute their expertise are encouraged to apply.

Take the next step in your career and submit your resume highlighting relevant experience, proof of licensure and educator credentials, along with your name and commuting city. Embrace this opportunity to support early learners in Pennsylvania’s communities.
