We are looking for a dedicated general cardiologist to provide care for a diverse patient population from Ventura County and its neighboring areas. Our organization features a range of specialties, including Interventional and Structural Cardiology, Vascular Disease, and Electrophysiology, alongside our General Cardiology services. Our team is comprised of highly skilled professionals, many of whom have over 20 years of experience, and includes in-house experts in PET, SPECT, Stress Echo, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Device Technology.
Our practice is affiliated with one primary hospital for on-call duties, while procedures are performed at a second hospital and an ambulatory surgical center.
Position Details:
- Clinics: We operate two clinics located in Ventura and Oxnard, California.
- Clinic Hours: Our clinics are open from 8 AM to 5 PM, with patient appointments scheduled from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
- Call Schedule: Emergency room call is approximately once every 12 days, including one weekend every 12 weeks, at a single hospital.
- Procedures and Imaging: Responsibilities include performing cardioversions, overseeing TEEs, managing stress echo procedures, and interpreting nuclear studies. Our facilities are ICAEL accredited for Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs, featuring PET and Cardiac CT programs. We also have a comprehensive EP and advanced structural program that includes imaging for TAVR, Mitralclip, Triclip, PFO closure, and WATCHMAN procedures.
- Resident Training: Our practice actively supports the training of internal medicine and family practice residents associated with our hospital residency program.
- Research Opportunities: An interest in research is advantageous, as our practice leads and participates in various clinical trials.

- Salary: We offer a competitive guaranteed salary during the initial employment phase, with potential bonuses following the ramp-up period.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified or eligible.
- Medical License: A California medical license or eligibility is required.
