Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in production operations. This role acts as a bridge between design engineering and production, ensuring that products are manufactured cost-effectively while meeting quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze workflows, troubleshoot production issues, introduce new technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.

Essential Functions:

  1. Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
  2. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation
  3. Partner with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products, supporting prototypes and scaling up to full production
  4. Provide technical support to production teams to resolve issues with equipment, materials, or processes
  5. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure all processes meet quality standards and customer requirements
  6. Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective/preventive actions
  7. Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  8. Recommend and implement cost-saving projects and efficiency enhancements
  9. Use data-driven analysis to monitor production metrics and drive improvements
  10. Specify, purchase, and implement manufacturing equipment, jigs, and tooling
  11. Work closely with design, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to meet company goals.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Technical degree in manufacturing engineering, production support, operations or equivalent business experience
  • 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
