Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Clinical Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. You will work chairside with our orthodontists to provide high-quality care, helping patients of all ages achieve confident smiles. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-energy environment and enjoys building rapport with patients throughout their treatment journey. We have 3 amazing female Orthodontists, 2 locations in Tulsa (Midtown & South Tulsa), and office comfort dogs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification: Dental assistant permit as required by state law. X-ray expanded function is not required at hire but must be working towards receiving.
- Clinical Skill: Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small orthodontic components.
- Communication: Ability to put patients at ease and communicate instructions clearly.
- Adaptability: Comfortable managing a busy schedule and transitioning between 2 locations

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Provide efficient assistance during bonding, debonding, and appliance adjustment appointments.
- Diagnostic Records: Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and 3D digital scans (e.g., iTero) for treatment planning.
- Patient Education: Clearly explain oral hygiene techniques and appliance care to patients and parents.
- Sterilization & Setup: Maintain a sterile environment by cleaning instruments and prepping operatories according to OSHA and HIPAA standards.
