Join a fast-paced and highly collaborative urology practice where you'll gain extensive hands-on clinical experience. Our team includes 3 urologists, 1 urogynecologist, 1 physician assistant, and 1 nurse practitioner, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Providers typically see 35-45 patients per day, so we're looking for a skilled and motivated medical assistant to help support this high-volume environment.
This role involves both administrative and clinical responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on procedural support and patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities

Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations

Taking and recording vital signs and blood pressure

Assisting providers with minor in-office procedures (e.g., catheter insertions, vasectomies, biopsies)

Setting up and turning over procedure rooms

Administering injections
-
Performing phlebotomy (approximately 20 blood draws per day)

Managing prior authorizations for medications

Triaging patient phone calls and relaying information to providers

Documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR)
What You'll Gain

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)

Previous experience in an outpatient or physician office setting

Comfort working in a high-volume practice

Phlebotomy experience (20+ sticks per day)

Experience administering injections
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Athena EMR

Prior experience in urology or a procedural-based specialty

Strong multitasking and communication skills in a clinical setting
Schedule/Shift
- M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
