Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Wake Forest, NC, this contract position seeks a dedicated educator specializing in visual impairment to support students with unique learning needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing individualized educational programs for visually impaired students.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to ensure accessible learning environments.

- Conducting assessments and adapting materials to meet students visual and learning needs.
- Advocating for students and supporting their social-emotional development.
