Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available at a high school in White Rock, NM, for the current school year through May 29, 2026. This onsite, in-person role focuses on providing direct support to students and requires a professional skilled in developing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic services to students within the school setting
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Write and maintain accurate IEP documentation in pliance with regulations
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student educational plans
Qualifications:
- Valid and active New Mexico State Occupational Therapy licensure
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Proficient in writing IEPs and understanding of special education processes
- US citizenship is required
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in White Rock, NM, throughout the contract duration
