You’ll work with a manageable caseload of about 20–24 students, primarily in grades 2–6, whose needs center on Specific Learning Disability, Speech/Language Impairment, and Other Health Impairment. Flexibility within the grade levels allows you to leverage your strengths and experience where they’re needed most.

  • Experience with elementary-aged students (grades 2–6 preferred)
  • Familiarity with providing instruction tailored to IEP goals, particularly in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning

  • Confidence leading IEP meetings and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills for partnering with general educators, service providers, and student families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary case manager, taking the lead in IEP development and meetings
  • Complete and maintain precise special education records and documentation
  • Engage in weekly grade-level professional learning communities and collaborative planning sessions
  • Support positive, inclusive educational experiences through partnership with colleagues and families

PLC and team meetings are typically scheduled for Tuesdays, with occasional sessions on Wednesdays to promote effective collaboration and communication.
