What You'll Do

Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic wounds for skilled nursing and long-term care residents
Develop and manage individualized wound care treatment plans
Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with Arkansas law
Order, review and follow up on diagnostic tests and treatments
Communicate regularly with nursing facility staff about changes in condition or care plans
Collaborate with primary care providers and the interdisciplinary care team
Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR

What You Bring

Current, unrestricted Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license and NP board certification
DEA registration optional
Adult, family or geriatric clinical background with prior wound care experience
Comfort diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous and mixed-etiology wounds, and staging pressure injuries per NPIAP guidelines
Experience with wound VACs and pressure-relieving equipment
Wound care certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain it
Long-term care experience, EMR proficiency and strong interdisciplinary teamwork skills

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time, facility-based role in the Prescott, AR area
