Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Contract Opportunity
Location: Cantonment, FL
This role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients using advanced imaging technology. The position offers a 40-hour workweek with on-call responsibilities on Saturdays and Sundays once per month from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additionally, coverage is required for any holiday that falls on your regularly scheduled shift.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
- Valid Florida licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging procedures and protocols
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to protocol
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment ensuring quality diagnostic images
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and imaging logs
- Comply with all safety standards and radiation protection guidelines
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate timely patient care
