Gillmann Services is currently recruiting for a Remodeling Carpenter's for the Knoxville TN area for Immediate hire
We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. This role involves executing a wide range of carpentry, construction, and restoration tasks with precision and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various construction disciplines, including framing, trim carpentry, concrete forming, roofing, and drywall installation.
DutiesPerform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations.
Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, roofing, tile laying, and flooring installation.Assist with plastering, stucco application, caulking, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general restoration tasks.Install fixtures such as doors, cabinetry, fixtures, and metal studs; handle remodeling projects with efficiency.
Execute plumbing and electrical work in compliance with safety standards and project specifications.Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site operations.
Support manufacturing processes related to construction materials or custom fabrications.Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, masonry or related fields. Demonstrated knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation processes.Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations applicable to various construction activities.. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively.
