Job Description
The Front Desk Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a professional, courteous manner

Perform insurance intake, including verification, data entry, and scanning of insurance cards

Verify and update patient demographics and required documentation

Accurately document information in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Send messages and route tasks to providers and clinical staff through the EMR

Assist patients with appointments, forms, and general questions

Support patients with navigation of services, including referrals and follow-up needs

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and FQHC policies
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior medical front desk or healthcare experience preferred

Experience with insurance intake and EMR systems preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
-
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
