Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 public school district in Sacramento, CA. This contract role serves as a backfill from December 1, 2025, through June 12, 2026, supporting approximately 50-65 students. The current caseload requires a professional who can manage progress monitoring and deliver timely speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and individualized interventions for students in grades K-12.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly to meet educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal speech therapy regulations within the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Valid California Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation.
- Experience in providing school-based speech therapy services from K-12 settings.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an educational team.

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
Duration: December 1, 2025 June 12, 2026 (Contract)
