As a Surgical Technologist, you will be a vital part of our surgical team, providing essential care to patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics. Your role will involve assisting surgeons with instruments and supplies, all while ensuring a sterile environment and prioritizing patient safety.

In our Operating Room, we deliver top-notch intraoperative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We cater to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Collaborating with various specialties, you will help ensure that patients receive the best care possible, whether they are going home the same day or being admitted to the hospital.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Ensure a sterile environment and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Current documentation of certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon.
- Experience: Options for certification include:
- Completion of a surgical technology training program in the armed forces or U.S. Public Health Service.
- Graduation from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program and certification by the NBSTSA.
- Two years of surgical technology practice in a hospital or similar setting between January 1, 2014, and January 1, 2017.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- Experience or training in computer applications preferred.

- Climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
- Lifting and carrying weights ranging from 20 to 60 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling instruments and equipment.
