Dental Hygienist | Full-Time | Midland TX

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Preventive Treatment
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planning
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting
- Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans
- Apply sealants, fluoride, and desensitizing agents
Patient Education
- Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and long-term oral hygiene habits
- Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance related to oral health
Treatment Coordination & Documentation
- Review and update medical histories and patient records
- Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning
- Document clinical findings accurately in patient management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
Infection Control & Equipment Care
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and treatment rooms
Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in Texas
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in Patient Management Software
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a team environment

- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
