About the Opportunity
LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client in Saline, MI seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role begins as a contract assignment with the intention to convert to direct hire within 3-6 months. The company offers a structured schedule, positive team environment, and hybrid flexibility after completion of initial onsite training.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, reviewing all incoming invoices and related documents
- Investigate discrepancies or missing information to ensure invoice accuracy
- Perform accurate data entry of invoices and ensure timely processing for payment
- Audit expense submissions from employees and contractors for compliance and accuracy
- Maintain and update vendor records within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support month-end close by assisting with accrual-related tasks
Qualifications
- Prior accounts payable experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactions
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Compensation & Work Environment
- Pay: $24-$26/hr
- Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
