Job Description

Pride Health is seeking Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join a team in Philadelphia, PA 19104. This is a 3-months contract with a possible extension.


Job Description:

  • Provides physical therapy treatment procedures under the direct, on-premise supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Delivers direct interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercises, and modalities in both individual and group settings.
  • Treats patients in various hospital settings, including the ambulatory network.
  • Evaluates patient responses and documents progress; instructs patients and families in home programs.
  • Coordinates care with hospital and community providers, including tracking medical equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and organized therapy gym and treatment area.
  • Participates in departmental planning, inservices, and mentorship opportunities.

Required:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Pennsylvania State PTA License
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8AM - 4:30PM

Contract Length: 3 months

Pay Rate: $38.00 – $40.00/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
