Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Range: $20.00-$21.50
Shift: Multiple shifts available: days (6:45AM – 7:00PM) and nights (6:45PM – 7:00AM). Will work weekends every other week.
What's the Job?
- Package finished product according to approved packaging specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met, free of damage or contamination.
- Verify correct part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and packaging configurations.
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials, pallets, and finished goods between areas.
- Complete all documentation accurately, including verification sheets and logs, supporting production flow and traceability.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1+ year of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and willingness to become forklift-certified.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately.
