Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position spans the full school calendar, with anticipated dates from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active PTA licensure meeting all current state regulations
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of pediatric therapy and IEP processes
- Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to work with diverse student needs and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy within educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions to support students’ educational and mobility goals
- Collaborate with teachers, other school professionals, and families to implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining detailed records as required by school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and the development of student care plans
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel regarding student therapy needs
- Adapt and adjust therapeutic techniques and equipment to best serve a varied caseload
