About Barth Dental Laboratory
Serving the dental community since 1958, Barth Dental Laboratory is a family-owned, full-service lab committed to precision, quality, and heritage. For over six decades, we have partnered with dentists across Indiana to provide high-quality restorations. We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our legacy and help manage the heartbeat of our daily operations.
The Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional with 5+ years of dental industry experience to oversee the administrative and operational flow of our lab. This role is the "command center" of the business—you will be the primary link between our skilled technicians and the doctors we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management & Logistics: Oversee the daily intake of prescriptions (physical and digital). Ensure all technical requirements—shades, materials, and seat dates—are clear before moving to the lab bench.
- B2B Client Relations: Provide elite customer service to our partner practices. Handle status checks, technical inquiries, and scheduling with the professionalism our clients have expected since 1958.
- Workflow Coordination: Manage the shipping and receiving department, coordinating with couriers to ensure timely case delivery.
- Billing & Financials: Manage accounts receivable, process monthly statements for dental offices, and maintain accurate financial records.
- General Administration: Maintain a highly organized office environment, manage supply inventory, and support lab leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a dental-related role (Dental Lab, Dental Office Management, or Treatment Coordination).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with dental terminology, tooth numbering, and restorative products (Crown & Bridge, Removables, Implants).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Lab Management Software (e.g., Magic Touch or LabEdge) is a significant advantage.
- Character: You are a detail-oriented "multitasker" who values reliability and takes pride in being part of a long-standing local business.
Why Join Us?
- Heritage & Stability: Join a well-established company with a 65+ year history in Indianapolis.
- Consistent Hours: Full-time, M-F, 8:00–5:00 schedule. No weekends.
- Competitive Pay: We value your expertise. Compensation is commensurate with your years in the industry.
- Environment: Work in a professional, production-focused facility with free on-site parking and easy access to I-465
