DOCA is a European cabinetry brand designed for every room of the home — with a level of design flexibility that most imported systems can’t match. Our Georgetown showroom serves architects, interior designers, and homeowners across the DC metro area working at the higher end of the market.

We are looking for a designer who is as comfortable in a client conversation as they are in a design file. Someone who listens carefully, thinks spatially, and can translate a client’s vision into a proposal that closes. You will work directly with ownership in an environment where design quality and client relationships drive everything.

What You’ll Do

• Guide clients from first appointment through close — consultations, design development, proposals, and follow-through.
• Assess project scope and spatial constraints, develop a design direction, and present tailored solutions to a discerning clientele.
• Produce layouts and technical drawings using industry-standard design software.
• Coordinate project specifications and documentation with our European manufacturer.
• Maintain the showroom as a reflection of the brand — displays, samples, and materials consistently presentation-ready.

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine appreciation for European design and the details that distinguish it.
• 2–4 years of experience in kitchen design, cabinetry sales, interior design, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in at least one industry design tool — Winner, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, 2020 Design, or similar.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and guiding decisions in a high-end environment.
• Able to work independently while maintaining a close working relationship with ownership.
• Good judgment and a calm, professional presence — with clients and in the day-to-day.

Experience with European or custom cabinetry brands is a plus. Portfolio welcome but not required.

Compensation

• Base salary $72,000 + 2% commission on closed sales.
• At DOCA’s project values, commission is a real income supplement — not a token.
Walk-in and referred clients are yours to work with and yours to close.

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday–Friday 10AM–5PM. Saturday client meetings are at your discretion.
• Paid holidays. Parking provided.
